The thing that puzzles me about the Coyotes is their continued willingness to get older and ship out young players. Domi, Duclair, Strome. These moves make them older. Then they commit to Grabner, etc. There just doesn't seem to be a plan. A rebuild generally means keeping your young players. |

It was pretty clearly reported Schmaltz has a knee injury.
Not sure where you got "body injury" |

Serious back luck for the Yotes this year. Makes ya wonder if someone has some serious voodoo out on them right now to make things that much worse that Bettman says "F*#! it!" and agrees to move the team to Houston or somewhere else |

I’d do it. I like his style for the Pens. Underrated player IMO. |

The plan was to make the playoffs on a team built around a star goalie and defenseman. The Coyotes had a really good and deep roster (that lacked star power, obviously) but they were out of it for so long, and have such a precarious situation that they just really want to be half way competitive and make the playoffs.
Something they easily could have done if they'd been healthy. I mean, they're six points out with only 12 games played by their #1 goalie let alone the ridiculous amount of other injuries. |

yeah I don't know, maybe I'm just lampooning something I see as pretty stupid and trying to have some fun. I mean you're reading it right? How many other Coyotes blogs you read on the regular? |

INJURY UPDATE: #Coyotes center Nick Schmaltz will be sidelined for the remainder of the season because of a lower-body injury.

I will never stop enjoying the fact that there are people who have come here and have read dozens of my blogs, if not hundreds, and still try to correct me in the gotcha fashion, even though these are clearly irreverent and include a staggering amount of nipple references.
I'll save you the time: You got me, and you'll continue to get me every single day you feel like doing it. But you might as well go whine to the Onion about their inaccurate news reporting. |

They're a mess and they don't attract any talent at any level - from players all the way up to management. They get guys who can't get work elsewhere and players who don't like the pressure/spotlight (OEL and Doan are good examples). The young, talented players don't want to be there and play themselves out of town. Ever since they decided to go the celebrity coach route they have been a complete tire fire. What competent GM in his right mind would want to work for that organization? That's why there's no plan, there's no good people to make one. |

That's the problem. They made a series of reactionary moves because of that. The moves they've made have made them worse imo. They're chasing their tail and digging in deeper. |

The onion is a spoof that knows they are spoof. That is the difference between you and the onion. Plus the onion is actually funny. |
